Social inbox tools: the Suite screenshot versus the API inbox
Chrome extensions sit on one pane of Meta Business Suite. Nothing in the store covers Messenger, Instagram DMs, Facebook comments, and Instagram comments at once. That job is an API platform.
If the job is “reply from the Meta Business Suite inbox already on screen” — Messenger, Instagram, WhatsApp, Facebook comments, Instagram comments — the Chrome Web Store looks full and is not.
Extensions attach to one pane. They read the DOM in front of you, draft a reply, sometimes with your own model key. They do not become the system of record, they do not see ads comments the Suite hides, and they do not span four surfaces without stacking two or three extensions.
API platforms sit beside the Suite. They connect pages through Meta’s APIs and run one queue. That is a different product: permissions, spam, comment-to-DM, paid-ad comments, languages, audit trail.

Closest extension to the Suite view
AI Auto Reply for Facebook is the one actually built for Business Suite: a “Scan AI Context” control and a per-comment icon that reads the parent post and drafts a reply for review, using your OpenAI / Anthropic / Google key (Chrome listing). That is the right shape if the constraint is “do not leave this tab.”
Around it:

- FB AI Reply is Facebook comments only — no DMs.
- evyAI is a broader social helper (DM + comments, several networks) and still not a governed advertiser inbox.

A realistic extension kit is Suite (AI Auto Reply) plus one Instagram-web tool. It will still miss WhatsApp depth, ads comments, and a single thread of record.

Then you want an API inbox:
